2008 IHOS Laboratory Classes

The IHOS Music Theatre Laboratory conducts training in chorus work, dramatic movement and optional music theory each Monday of the first two school terms. Classes are provided at no cost to the student to encourage access and the nurturing of talent.

Each year, IHOS commissions new works to be created for the students of the Laboratory to be performed in a fully staged production. In 2007, Tasmanian composer, Simon Reade, will be working with the Laboratory for a production in July.

This rare opportunity is made possible by Australia Council, Arts Tasmania, the Hobart City Council and Besen Family Foundation funding.

IHOS Laboratory classes: Tuesdays 5 - 7pm Term One : 6 March - 29 May Term Two : 19 June - 4 November

No Class on public holidays. IHOS Studios, 32 Pitt St, North Hobart.
