About IHOS Laboratory
The IHOS Laboratory was founded in 2000 to develop
the skills of young singers in Tasmania. Professional guest artists conduct
weekly classes in vocal training, movement and music theory, and work with
student-singers to develop music theatre works as fully staged professional
productions.
The IHOS Laboratory is also dedicated to providing a platform for young and emerging composers, directors and designers. Since 2000 the IHOS Laboratory has premiered twenty new works, showcasing the work of more than seventy young Tasmanian performers.
